| You can skip my blathering and go straight to the Question towards the bottom. We've been using a mediatechnics fusion 248 to duplicate 40-50 CDs each week. ![]() http://www.mediatechnics.com/pages/fusion2.htm Stand alone unit (doesn't work with netwoks or computers) that came with 2 CD drives and a thermal printer. It's been working fine until recently it went KaPuUT! We went and bought a discmakers elite pro 4. ![]() http://www.discmakers.com/duplicator...ated/elite.asp 4 DVD/CD drives, integratable with network, multiple job queing, and full color inkjet printer. everything you'd ever need right? WRONG After spending the money to upgrade to this machine I'm having some SERIOUS buyers remorse. Here are my complants:
What are you using to duplicate CDs? Do you use an automated unit, or manually load discs? What brand of duplicator? What has tech support been like? Do you own, or have you used the Rimage 2000i? ![]() http://www.rimage.com/products_detai...age_2000i.html |

| Once you have printed the disks, you have to seal the ink or, as you found out, if they get wet the ink will run. Many people use hairspray, but there is a specific sealer sold at hobby shops that is like clear Krylon. As for a copier, we use a Spinrite 5 cd copier tower. It doesn't do everything that yours does, but it does work. |
