What does an Angel sound like ?

Ok here is a strange request I have not come across before...... and it's from MY WIFE too !!!

What does an angel sound like ? My wife is involved in the childrens christmas program this Sunday evening and has requested of ME, the sound/video guy, to project a angel above the children along with the "sound" of an angel. WHAT SOUND DOES AN ANGEL MAKE ?

Can anyone help me our here ?? ...... I also need to source it.

Jeff

Jeff,
Good question. Depending on how large of an effect you need---I picture something very big and "angelic"---like a large pleasant sound..........boy this is hard to describe.

Here is a sound I found quickly for you---that might work perfect for children with angel sound: http://www.tradebit.com/filedetail.p...75-Sounds-MIDI

Here is another sample --a bit bigger sound: http://www.fotosearch.com/KSD001/l0788_5_124_l/

Here are a few other angelic sounds: http://soundrangers.com/category-res...=1&cat_id=0218

Depends on the angel. You cold use a tinkly sound like wind chimes or something.

Or an angelic choir major chord progression.

But an a-typical warrior type angel sound might be more fun to come up with.

Hey, you hit a hot-button of mine! Angels are one of the most misrepresented creations of God. Here are some tips:

1) All angels are masculine (something I'm working on myself :^p)

2) Your general "messenger angel", which is pretty much all of them, does NOT have wings. Specific angels in Revelation have wings, but they have SIX wings. Cherubim and Seraphim may be a certain type of angel and they have wings. It's not totally clear. Ezekiel and Isaiah mention them.

3) There is no indication in the Bible of any angels ever singing.

4) Halos and auras are completely fiction -- and auras are actually more closely related to the occult.

These should be obvious:
>> You do not become an angel or grow wings when you get to heaven.
>> Infants who die do not become angels.

I know that doesn't help much, but maybe you can spin off of that.

And for reference on fallen angels:

1) Lucifer does NOT have horns and a forked tale. He is an "angel of light" and is a "sharped-dressed man".

2) Sorry, AC/DC, but Hell is NOT Satan's kingdom -- it's his prison.

3) The devil is NOT omnipresent nor omniscient. We give him a lot more credit than is due him. Remember, he WANTS to be like God... but he's nowhere close.

Tim,
Good morning! And thanks for sucking all of the fun out of the angel discussion!
I was not aware that: Only specific angels in Revelation have wings and they have SIX wings

Just a note on what I just wrote... no big debate needed. I didn't write a complete dissertation so it's not complete. This seems to be a good site about angels:

LOL -- I'm really sorry. I don't mean to be a drag. I'll go back to my customer service duties now.

I know... I have the same type of sense of humor (gets me into trouble). I have plenty to do today other than angel lectures.

Carry on!

In a musical that our Youth Pastor wrote, the angels wore golden baseball caps and high tops, along with shades, biker jackets and jeans.
