I am getting ready to record something tonight. All voice actors. I have the recorder all set up. I tested levels, the HD24 receives them fine. I am running on a M7CL, so I patched channels 1-8 from the mics doing a Direct Out to the recorder. I patched channels 17-24 from Card 1, Slot 1-8......

I patched channels 17-24 from Card 1, Slot 1-8... to hear back what was recorded without having to repatch.

ANYWAY... I did line tests, it looked fine. I hit record... it looked fine. I went to play back, and it doesn't switch over to a playback mode. I changed hard drives, rebooted the unit. Disconnected and reconnected all the cables... NOTHING IS WORKING. The manual says nothing about this. I have a quick deadline looming. I'm on the line... on hold... with tech support. I feel like I am very screwed. Not looking forward to the next hour.

First off we have a mackie 24 channel soundboard and Im going straight from the board to a pc where Im running audacity to record the sermons. While editing Ive been noticing in some of the sermons about 25-30 mins in, there is all of a sudden a ton of noise that last all the way to end of the sermons. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas to what it could be? I'm attaching a small clip that shows the noise. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

Couldn't attach Mp3, so here is the URL where the small clip is uploaded in mp3 format.
