| Grinches try to rob us of our joy When I arrived at the church today, I discovered thieves had struck! 6 A/C units gone or destroyed. Copper thieves. We are blessed to have insurance so eventually it will be handled. Our big sanctuary unit is ok as well as one large gym unit. and it is not the middle of the summer! Praise the Lord. It is God's property, not ours. We will have a Merry Christmas celebrating our Lord's birth. mary   |

| I honor your attitude, Mary! And I pray God will be merciful to the thieves, using this event as a teachable moment in their lives. Aren't you grateful Jesus' birth is not celebrated in August?! ;~) |

| God's timing is always good I told several people yesterday that I was certainly grateful it is not the middle of a Houston summer and we are having a mild winter. I suggested to the pastor that he put on the sign: To AC thieves, I am a witness. Signed God I doubt he will do that but we have asked prayer for the thieves. Also, we have needed to install some more efficient units so God will use this to our good. mary |
