Are you asking because you are presently running Audition at the same time as EW or is this a hypothetical question and you are considering running Audition at the same time? Some more background info would help us out.

I know from previous computer use at the radio station I worked at, that Adobe Audition is a memory hog (as are most other recording programs). EW takes a fairly decent amount of memory to run (as most worship software will) and to play media, video backgrounds under lyrics w/o lag, etc. Some more info on your computer (processor, memory installed, video cards, etc.) might help solve an issue if the memory is low and some more would help...

I'm assuming that you're wanting to record bits of your service, practice time, etc? I highly suggest separating your computer from anything audio unless it is playback. A dedicated media machine is a happy media machine.

I am currently running Audition with EW. If I run EW first, Auditions wont record... if I run Auditions first then EW, its works fine. It seems like there might be some sort of direct x incompatibility or something. Wondering if anyone had the same issues?

Honestly you really don't need two separate computers to do this. Unless you have a really slow machine or something but we have a fairly run of the mill PC (4 core, 6GB, 1 GB video) and it runs it fine as long as you run auditions first.

6 GB should be more then enough RAM to run both programs.
