Pastor and foldback

We recently began using EW 2009 including the foldback screen (we used EW 2007 before). During the sermon we put Bible verses on the screen as the pastor calls for them. We use the "clear" button to do this. This has always worked well for us. With the new foldback screen, the pastor is unable to tell if we have "revealed" the verse yet. This makes him uncomfortable because he isn't sure if the congregation can see what he is talking about.
Is there a way to help him out with this? We like having the clock on his monitor and the ability to send him a message is a good thing. If we can't resolve this we will have to go back to using the FOH screen on his monitor.
Thanks for your help.

Not sure if this would work but.. Do you use the LOGO button. create a blank slide with sermon title in bottom of screen. add to background and make it the LOGO.

Have just recently used a system with the fold back being used. Not impressed yet.

That's an interesting approach. I will give it a try. Thanks!
