Playing videos in powerpoint in easyworship

I use open office Impress to make my powerpoint. Save it as a Powerpoint file, then play it through easyworship.

The video plays in Powerpoint viewer and Impress. But when I put it in Easyworship it does not play.

Can someone tell me how to do this? Would love it to start when I start that slide.

You didn't mention if you tried this below:

See if you can you play the video by itself in easy worship? If you can, you know its not a codec problem within easy worship. If this is the case you may have to put add the video to your schedule separately and then switch back and forth to your ppt slide. Kind of a hassle, but it is doable.

Will test that out.
What I did was just have the operator launch the player. Then close it out when it was done.

What I've done in similar cases is split the powerpoint into before video and after video portions and then put all three (powerpoint, video, powerpoint) in the program to fire separately. That way I don't have to try to jump back in to the middle of the powerpoint.

In EW, try and keep your files small, splitting the video into a separate file is what I do. EW still has issues with large files...really annoying.

Btw, not my pc being crappy, EW just has some serious issues.
