Any body using an ATI 5870 or 5850

OK, my home PC has a 5870, I set up EW, downloaded the DVD codec, set up EW for foldback and such, and it works flawlessly. At church, going from a Quatro 3450, into a Dual Head 2 Go, we can't play back DVD through EW, with the latest codec. So my thinking is that the Quatro is the problem, it only has 256 mb RAM, which from my understanding the Quatro splits its RAM and processors to run each output, meaning that one output is running at 1024x768 and the other output is running at 2048x768, causing the 2nd output to max out it's memory.

Is anyone using a 5870, without a Dual Head 2 Go? I know that I need a native display port monitor, not a big deal (don't trust those active display port to dvi, it puts more stress on your USB).

Let me know of any success stories or any issues you have had with a 5870.

We have had good luck with the display port to vga adapters. VGA resolution will go up to a little higher than 1920x1080.
I don't think there is a need to go DVI unless you just really want to.
I do recommend turning off all options to turn off displays after a certain amount of time. For some reason the Display port won't wake back up after going to sleep.

Just to let anyone that sees this thread know, we were able to find a resolution to the problem that did not require a new computer.
Here is the fix.

Open EasyWorship.
Click on live, options, advanced.
Uncheck the option to prevent DVD Spin down.
Click Ok and go live with your DVD.
