Using Open Office Impress

I know I can not use Open Office Impress directly.
Can I save as a Powerpoint file and use Powerpoint viewer?
How would I go about this? What set up is needed?

It seems all I had to do was not have Openoffice Impress open at the same time as EW.

I had them both open as I was editing the file to make it show better on the projector. So I just have to Close Impress. Saving it in Powerpoint format. Then it would open up in Easy Worsip.

As I understand it EW does not bring the file into EW but just accesses it from wher e it is saved. So when you already are using it in Impress then EW can not access it too.
