It is in the works as we speak. If you have the PC version now though you may be able to run Bootcamp and have it. Theoretically... in a perfect world that's what I would like to do.

You can run it using bootcamp. Many of our users do that and we do that on some of our computers here in the office.

Due to a lack of MAC media software (which some companies are now addressing) you have to use bootcamp.
I run MS on bootcamp but will be getting the MAC version when it's available.

Hi EWSupport folks,
I know you can't give any specifics on a Mac release date for EW but can you give me any warm fuzzies? Our fiscal year ends 9/30, I have money to move into a Mac but we have always used EasyWorship and want to continue.

Along the same line, if we were to upgrade to EW 9 and then the Mac version came out the next day, would we have any ability to change out for the Mac version?
Thanks for any info,
-Carter

I don't know that we are close enough to give upgrade path info, but I know it will be fair.

2 options:

1. Buy another copy of windows, and install windows on the macbook.
run windows via bootcamp along with EW.
Should be basically the same as a windows PC.

2. Buy ProPresenter, a mac based presentation software.

I've used both, and both work fine for basic song presentation.

But if you start getting into more advanced stuff, such as incorporating timers, announcements, stage display, HD videos, etc.
Ppresenter is the way to go

I vastly prefer it over EW, but the downside is that it takes some time to convert your song library.

Wonder if EW will run under wine on a Mac. I have a Macbook I'm using now to type this running OS 10.6. I was meaning to install wine anyway for other programs I want to run. I'll give 'er a shot a let y'all know.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. Finally got Wine installed on my Macbook and installed EW. EW installed fine but definitely does not run right. Many many glitches and freezes to make the program even remotely usable.

Either wait until the Mac version, or use Bootcamp as suggested above.

Sorry again for the very late reply.
