New to Easyworship...another question

In Media Shout I can change the order of a song...for example. I need the chorus to be inserted each time after a verse so my operator can space bar all the way through or I want to start with the chorus this time instead of verse 1. Or the Worship leader only wants verse 1 and 5 so I want to remove all the others so not confuse the operator. Can this be done in EW?

Sure, just right click on the song (either in the Database or the schedule) and pick the Edit option. You'll get a text editor. You can cut and paste the text as you would like.

EW recognizes words like Chorus, Verse and Bridge and will show those in colors, so be sure to copy those.

Also if you add a blank line it will split the text into two different pages. Handy for keeping the slide from getting too wordy.

If you edit the copy in the DB it will make those changes permanent. If you edit the song in the schedule, it will make the change only for that particular schedule.

In short, this is the same thing you would do if you wanted to change the background video/image/etc for the song.

I like Easyworship, but i've been on Media Shout for 5 years so it's going to take a while to get use to the look and feel.

Oh, how about the schedule running automatically? In MS I can set my script to run announcements during pre service...these Cue's are set with timers and change on their own. Does EW have this feature?

No, this feature doesn't exist in EW. I migrated from SundayPlus, and I also had and used this feature every week. The work-around that I've used is to do the announcements in PowerPoint, import the ppt file into EW, and play if from there.
