formatting text in easyworship 2009

Have a 9 page word doc I am trying to cut and paste into a new song in EasyWorship and it aint so "easy".

how can I do this without bringing in the formatting?
I have
removed formatting in word
pasted into wordpad and notepad
re copied and pasted into easy worship
Still unable to get this to work. it makes the font fill about 20% of the center of the screen and I can't make it bigger. Trying to get this done for my pastor's wife.

any suggestions?

Michael

Can you put it in Powerpoint and then put the powerpoint into EasyWorship?

Yes, but I got easyworship trying to stop using powerpoint. But it would take jsut as long for me to make the slides right in there also.

I posted on the EasyWorship site also and got this answer, it worked.. Patience my son....man I need to learn that LOL

Easyworship will try to fit all text that is within a verse on one slide. It will also force all parts of a song (all verses) to have the same font size. (but you can change the font size percentage for individual parts of a verse)
To make the font show up larger on the output you must divide the new song into smaller parts. The font will remain small enough to make it possible to fit the longest of all the verser in the song on one slide. So once you've divided the text into small enough pieces (verses) the text will become larger.

Easyworship is a projection program, not necessarily a creation program.

We usually use Power Point to create our announcement slides, sermon notes, etc. You'll have better control over the look of your product with Powerpoint and EW will make it (and you) look good.

I believe the next version is going to have an improved editor, more like PowerPoint.
