Question about going from SundayPlus to Easy Worship

I am curious about the experiences of those who have gone from Sunday Plus to Easy Worship.

How much of a change, learning curve is it?

How much of your original SP material were you able to convert over to EW format and how hard was it to do it?

Any other thoughts?

I switched a couple years ago. I felt EW was actually easier than SP. I only copied over songs as needed, and IIRC, SP gives you the option to export a song as a text file. Then I think I opened the text file, select all, copied, opened EW, and pasted into a text editor. Again, IIRC, I had to put in all the "Verse 1", "Chorus", etc, but I just did songs "as needed". Between that and Song Select, I don't remember much of a hassle.

We have been using Sunday Plus for many years and are now thinking of moving over to Easy Worship. Therefore we have alot of songs and creeds and announcements on our computer. I think I read somewhere that there was a converter to go from Sunday Plus to Easy Worship. Is this true or are my eyes deceiving me? And if there is a converter could I please get a link so that I can try it out?

I would email support and they should be able to help you out a little more. Browsing the EW forums I ran across this... Hope that helps! Might mention it when you call/email.

Blessings!

Just don't go to EW. Go to ProPresenter.problem solved! I don't personally think EW is very easy, many of my local tech brethren have dumped EW and gone ProPresenter, my only reason for not switching is budget right now.

Also, why is there no EW 11? Makes you wonder some.

Yeah... We looked into PP4 before going with EW. At $800 for a site license version, plus another $200 to use it for environmental projection with our TripleHead2Go... well, that wasn't going to happen any time soon. We got EW with a site license for $300 (special promo at the time) We've had no issues with reliability or ease of use. Just this past weekend I had a new "recruit" sit thru the setup and run-through, and she solo'd with no help whatsoever. Having never used PP4, I can't say whether or not it's any easier to use than EW, but I can say that my experience has been that EW is certainly easy to learn and use, and in the three years we've been using it, we've not ever entertained moving to anything else.... If it ain't broke,
