Easy Worship Works Great for VBS, Funeral

Hi everyone

I was away from civilization for a week and a half at my home church 2 hours North without internet. We had a great VBS (my wife is the director) and on a happy/sad note, one of our elders passed away. (Happy because she is with The Lord, sad because we will miss her)

We ran everything out of Easy Worship and it worked great!

For VBS, we had the DVDs of the songs/videos and for Chadder (an annoying chipmonk that goes on "adventures"). It works great. Toss in your DVD, cue it into the schedule, and double-click when it's time. No DVD player going to sleep, no FBI warning, no lag.

For the funeral, the family wanted audio (which Easy Worship doesn't support) so we tossed each track into a 1-slide power point file and brought it into Easy Worship. We had scriptures, song lyrics, photos, and automatic slide shows. It's amazing how media can enhance a memorial service.

I'm sure the other packages also do a great job; some maybe even better. Just wanted to share how pleased we continue to be with our choice of Easy Worship.

Easy Worship works well. I have Pastor friend that will be using the program in September.

True that Easyworship doens't support audio but what I have done is added audio to the schedule (just pick 'all files') then when you need the audio play it in the preview area of Easyworship. Works fine and you have your music in the schedule.

Hey, thanks guys. Both are really good to know.

I put together the schedule about an hour before the funeral so I didn't go digging, but that's a huge help.
