The loop button works just fine. But there is another way to loop a video whether it is a non looping video (with smooth transition) or a looping video. You simply create a new song with a blank Verse and Chorus. Make sure to type Verse and Chorus or it won't work. Then choose the video you want to loop as the background. EW thinks it's a song and videos within songs loop automatically until you switch to another song or another element in your schedule.

We use this when we want a particular video to loop behind a Choir special and aren't sure of the length.

Don't feel stupid. We've all done similar things. It happens to the best of us.

REVBILLY,Your a life saver I had a Mpeg4 that used to play in EW now it won't. Spent hours and hours trying to get it to work no luck . Changed the file extension to .mpg and praise the Lord it worked. Thanks for the tip.

Hi,

I know its kinda late for this topic however I had a similar problem with regards in playing video via EW, I render my video clips using power director using WMV 8 best qualilty format, when i played it using media player, it played smoothly but when i tried using EW to play the video, it skips frames and the audio has gone far away than the video. how can i resolve this? does WMV format not compatible with EW?

You are encoding at too high of quality. Media player doesn't used DirectX to render video but EasyWorship does. Using directx requires more horsepower from the computer to play the video especially if you encode it at a high bit rate. You shouldn't need more than 3 megabit for high quality playback. Depending on your system specs, 3 meg may even be too much.

Oh forgot to tell you why EW uses DirectX. We use DirectX so you can have transitions in and out of videos and put text over the video if you want.
