Re-entering serial number in Easyworship
I'm fairly certain the answer to my forthcoming questions is yes but just thought I'd ask to make sure I'm not up a creek. I was not the one who registered our copy of Easyworship so I am not certain about this but do they send you a card with your registration info on it after you have registered Easyworship and can anyone foresee any problems if that registration info on the computer itself got wiped out and has to be re-entered. Here's my current situation. Last night when they attempted to open up Easyworship 2006 they got an "Index is out of date" error message and the program closed. They were able to use our older version we have on there without any trouble. I now know the solution to the "Index is out of date" error but in my initial attempt to rectify the error today (wasn't at church last night so I had to get the password to be able to get on that machine and see what it was really saying) I backed up all our data from 2006 and uninstalled the 2006 version. However when I did that, I selected yes to the "Remove all personal data" prompt not realizing it would wipe out our registration info. So now I can't reinstall 2006 until we can re-enter the info into version 2.3 so the settings will carry from one to the other.
And just as a side note, being able to install the update as a brand new install in a different folder so you can have two versions of Easyworship on one machine is great so anyone looking for worship software should check out Easyworship.
Easy Worship usually sends the info in an email to the contact person when they purchase EZW. There is no registration card. etc..
Contact EZW here.
They will need some info from you but should be able to get you an email with the license.
