Switch Suggestions?

I accidentally posted this in a different subforum and didn't get any response. Any ideas guys?

Our church is looking at some digital signage solutions and are pretty impressed with the ease of use and capability of the JAP HDMI over IP system. I'm in charge of getting this together, and while I do have a fair amount of knowledge and experience with computers/technology in general, I've never put together this kind of system before.

I'm mainly looking for suggestions on switch possibilities. We're going to be running 1-3 signals to 10 locations.

I'm also wondering about integrating our projector into the equation. It's currently run through vga right out of the computer. Is there another option to have vga at one location and hdmi at the rest?

The Just Add Power solution may be a good option. I believe you do have to use a managed switch, their site lists several that they have conformed work, and have a control computer connected to the switch in order to have the matrix routing functionality, which may be a factor if you planned on using any existing network infrastructure.

One issue that may be relevant to determining potential solutions is the distances from the sources to switch and switch to displays. Another may be whether any of the displays are in the worship space as any latency in the signal transmission could be more critical for those displays.

On the computer and projector, are both limited to VGA (output on the computer and input on the projector) or does one or the other also support HDMI or DVI-I/D? That would affect what options are available.

Analog Way has some pretty good stuff. www.analogway.com. We use one of their switchers for our auditorium. 8 inputs and two outputs. The outputs are convertible to either preview (1) and main (2), or main (1) and main (2).

But I think they have more switchers with more than two outputs. It just starts getting real pricey!!
