Monitor Suggestions - 42" Flat

We are planning to install a video monitor in our Fellowship Hall area. It will mostly serve to display the projection screen video feed from the sancturay to those in the Fellowship Hall, which serves as an overflow on Sunday Mornings. This monitor could also be used to display announcements and video for other functions in the Fellowship Hall.

For space constraints and asthetics, I do NOT want the display to have speakers, just a thin black bezel; that is why I want a MONITOR and not a TV. Also, it does not really need a tuner.

Problem is, local stores carry TVs almost exclusively. It is hard to find the MONITOR (non-TV) I would like.

Any suggestions on where to look?

Brand suggestions?

LCD or Plasma suggestons? (I am leaning towards plasma as they are typically brightest with largest viewing angles, but I know LCDs are catching up.)

Thanks!

In the past plasmas have had issues with burn in. That means that if an image is left on the screen for an extended time (hours or days I don't know the exact time) a ghost of that image will remain on the screen when the picture changes.

That said plasmas are making advances. So newer generations (professional and higher lever consumer grade displays) are supposed to have overcome this.

That said we have used pro level LCDs from Samsung and LG.

But we also have some cheap Vizo plasmas on our stage. They have the goofy speakers on the bottom but we spray painted them black.

I am really not worried about burn-in. Mostly, this monitor will only be used a couple hours on Sundays. We already use an HP plasma TV screen for a blind spot in the sanctuary. No noticable burn-in, and I don't expect to ever see any the way it gets used. Also, we use a fairly long composite cable run for that monitor and the picture is more than adequate!

Cost and asthetics are more important.
Mainly, I want to know how to look for a flat panel MONITOR as opposed to a TV.

We have used four on these Vizios in a recent install, all with the speakers removed:
