Transcend 64 GB Class 10

I purchased Transcend 64 GB Class 10 SDXC Ultra Speed 25MB/S Flash Memory Card. It has huge size. Less missed moments are achieved as the card does not have to be changed as often, and runs out of space less often. It is also good for my laptop because it can accept high capacity SD cards. However, I would still want to ask if anyone has encountered problems using this memory device such as memory card error/locked.

Hope anyone can give me feedback for this one..
Thanks in advance!

Unless one's shooting video and has a real need for a 64Gb card - I'd shy away from something that large.

I'm quite happy with my 8Gb SanDisk Extreme 30MB/s Edition SDHC cards. Pricier than the Transcend equivalents, but this is not a place where I want to scrimp on quality. With my shooting style, I get 400+ shots. I alternate between cards, so if a card did go bad, I don't loose everything.

Two recommendations - especially since you're moving it from camera to laptop. Always format the card in the camera. And, format the card each time you reuse the card (don't just erase the images). One is less likely to run into issues, if you follow these simple suggestions.

Another thing I've recently learned - the fuller the card is the longer it takes to write.
I use (mostly) 8 gig cards but once they start to get more then half full there is up to a second or two between shots.
I also use erase as the card has a limited number of writes. When you do a full format - you use up a write on space that is unused.
