Suddenly when I put a text box on a picture I type the first line then press enter and it doesn't go to a second line. It stats a new line under the first one. Any ideas?

Do you mean overlapped by / overlapping the first one? If so, check the line spacing. Click in the text box, select all the text (Ctrl-A), and set the line spacing to Auto (it's the icon in the Character palette with an A sitting on top of another A, with a little arrow off to the left.)
