Experiential design

Here's a video ad for Jr. high small groups, purportedly made by a Jr. Hi student at Saddleback. (Takes a while to load).

Interesting how the Jr. Hi version of a announcement is so light on content, like the experiential ads we see these days, as opposed to the chock full of information ads of a few decades ago.

Perhaps we could learn something?

Even if it wasn't a junior high student who made it, it's still phenomenally well done.

The quality is great. But what really struck me was the content, or lack there of.

A standard church announcement for this would have gone into what Wild Side was, when it met, who it was for, etc, etc.

This got your attention, and left you wanting to find out more about what Wild Side is. I'm assuming that information was readily available. All you know is that it had something to do with Jr. Highers.

I think it worked well to create interest.
