| Downloading from YouTube I have a query about using videos from YouTube in services. For some time we have been using YouTube video in services by downloading the video previously and converting to (eg) .WMV format so that it can be included in the projection plan. Recently someone pointed out to me the YouTube terms of use: "General Restriction of use: ... you agree not to access Content through any technology or means other than the video playback pages of the Website itself, the YouTube Player, or such other means as YouTube may explicitly designate for this purpose;" So ... obviously, that rules out downloading. What do people think? Do we continue? Is there an alternative way? Is it right/acceptable to ignore the rules? What do other people think? Advice please? | What Mark said. Also, some worship software will play You Tube and Vimeo live off of the internet. But you'd still need to make use you have permission/license to use the content in that venue.
