| Adding a song on the fly is very rare for us. But I've heard that it is less rare for others. Changing the path through the song, however, can happen quite a bit, e.g. adding a custom ending rather than the standard tag. If I were to put the CCLI info on the bottom of the tag, it may not get shown. So we stick with the starting title slide and it works well for us. ![]()

| Just clarifying a little bit what we do. Our info is at the end of the song, but it is stand alone with no other lyrics. There is actually a blank slide first then the song info in bottom left corner. So the next to last slide is blank, followed by the last slide which is song info. The first slide of every song is blank so that the song info and motion graphics on previous slide transition cleanly into the next song or screen graphic.

| We currently use Media Shout to automatically put it on the bottom of the last lyric slide - including title (which is the only time the title is shown). It makes it much easier to be consistent when transitioning from one song to another - especially if done rapidly. The last slide is also a visual cue that we are on the last slide of the song. Back in the "old days" when we used Powerpoint and then MS 2.5 we did use title slides with all the info there. I always found them difficult to squeeze in if things moved rapidly. Now we do pretty much stick to the script and do the songs as practiced, but sometimes - especially if things are running late - we may shorten a song. If I'm in sync with the Worship leader (mentally) then I can usually manage to end up on the ending slide with the credits at the right time, but sometimes it just doesn't work out, but those times are pretty rare. Its not that we were not intending to show it, but unforseen circumstances prevented it. Things happen and you just have to do your best to do what you can. |
