CMS platform recommendation

In talking with a local business, found an opportunity to pick up a little work but beyond my current experience level. Business sells all manners of trailers: horse, cattle, hogs, sheep, etc. And their inventory is everchanging and one-off type stuff. Current website is a straight html 4 page hot mess with 2 of the pages being broke.

Most experience with straight HTML and WP. Thinking that Joomla or Drupal might be a more appropriate platform.

Any good recommendations on a CMS platform and extensions that could manage a trailer based inventory?

Have you looked at Easy Address website builder?

I am an affiliate of their product and use their CMS for our church and a few other businesses. You can build websites from their templates and modify the design as you like without knowing HTML. It also allows you to plug-in some powerful applications.

You could definitely use WordPress... you may need to find a good theme or a plugin that adds the functionality you are looking for. Speaking of functionality what kind of functionality dose the website need?

I'll second wordpress and suggest the shopplugin. It is great. They use it at midnightoilproductions.com to power their store.

Lightbulb The best CMS

I highly recommend Concrete5. I have two websites built using the CMS and if you know PHP the sky is the limit.
The websites I built using Concrete5 are whatisacnc dot com and cncstuff dot com both are the original template, but you can customize very easily.
