| When you upload modules, by default, they are set to not be published. This is likely your problem, assuming you didn't receive and errors while installing. On Joomla 1.0.xx you'll find the module listed here: http://www.yourdomain.com/administra...on=com_modules Modules --> Site Modules On Joomla 1.5.xx you'll find the module listed here: http://www.yourdomain.com/administra...on=com_modules Extensions --> Module Manager Give that a shot, it should make it visible to your users. I'd recommend you set it to have 'special' permissions first, then login with an administrator account just to be sure it's not going to throw some nasty php error, or otherwise. Just a good practice, test it first, then release it to the general public. Good luck, let me know if that doesn't do the trick. |

| What version of Joomla are you running, 1.0.xx or 1.5.xx? You can find out which 'locations' your skin has available, and where they're at within your skin by turning on a 'switch' in your url. Try this: http://www.yourdomain.com/index.php?tp=1 If you're on an older 1.0.xx platform, you've got nothing to worry about with a legacy plug-in; otherwise, you may want to verify that your plug-in/module is 1.5 native, or is supported in legacy mode by 1.5. |
