Joomla for Church

Posted with permission:

I've created a website that deals mainly with people who use Joomla for their church websites. I've had a hard time finding information specifically related to joomla and church websites so I decided to create a site where (hopefully) people can share information on what they've done. There's not a whole lot of content right now but with your help it can be a great resource for those looking for joomla/church information. If you notice any problems with the site or any suggestions please let me know!

Joomla for Church

Oh and if the site takes off I'll buy a more fitting domain name, you may want to bookmark it for now because it's hard to remember.

Great idea LeAnn!! On the tag line, shouldn't it read, "Because open source for churches matters"? - ('Matters' referring to open source and not churches)

I think you're right, I struggled with that for a while, trying to decide which one was right. But that makes sense, thanks!

UPDATE! Joomla for Church now has it's own domain! It's www.joomla4church.com. You may find it ironic that it's not running on Joomla but I wanted a forum-only site and I didn't need all of the features that Joomla has. Phpbb fit my needs.
