Bash Dual Screen and WMP Wowes

WMP videos which used to play correctly now are unable to play full screen on the second monitor (and projector). (They play correctly on the main monitor.) WMP videos play actual size instead of stretching, but other video types play correctly (from MediaShout 2 and WMP 11). Tried: updating video card driver, changing acceleration rate, reinstalling WMP, updating Windows XP, updating codecs. Any advice?

The question is, what changed to make them quick working? Can you think back to when you last saw it working correctly and then walk forward to what's changed on the system since then?

Can't really think of anything that changed. It started when we tried to play a youtube video and the dual screen just went white. This was corrected by reducing the acceleration rate to about half. Don't know what caused that change or the current problem. It could be some automatic update.

We rolled back the video card driver to the next before last version and everything is back to normal including full acceleration. My experience with updates leaves me wondering about any benefits they may have.
