AE Class on Thursday

Hey, gang! I'm really excited about the After Effects class this year! If you've ever checked out the "bumpers" from Igniter Media, then you know how cool they are.

We're gonna create two sets of our own--one for sermon notes and the other for announcements. The best part is that these will work in all your worship software programs and PowerPoint. Plus you'll have the basic framework in hand to start making more of your own. Don't miss it!

If you want to play along during the class.

(1) You'll need a copy of After Effects Professional (6.5 or above). Otherwise be sure to download the 30 day demo of CS3 from Adobe.
(2) Your photo/image editor of choice. As long as you can open and save PNG files with transparency.
(3) Your worship software--only if you want to try the finished product out right away.

I was glad to have quite a few more in the AE class this afternoon than I was originally expecting. Thanks, gang!

Once the podcast is up, I'll make sure the work files from the session will be available for DL. Also I'll finish rendering out ALL the video clips; build the animations in Media Shout and PowerPoint; and try to get the AE files resaved to an earlier version format for those not using CS3 yet.
