Gear List?

Hey Tim,

Been out of the loop for a little bit, but I was wondering if you had a "gear needed" list I could show to my higher-ups and see what I could stuff in my suitcase.

I just spoke with Chad on the phone, and we were both wondering if there was a gear list available yet. I've got a few toys I could bring if needed, but too much to guess =).

Well, I'll be bringing my camera bag, one computer, a few give aways, unfortunately flying limits what you can bring with you.

I can probably free up some stuff if we need it that week, and being local I don't have to worry about airports and all that, just what the car will hold.

I'm standing in the wings ready to assist as well. I will have my mini van and i'm drivin' in so i can bring just about anything(within reason).

So far, that's just American Airlines and I don't think they fly to Australia.

Not to be a pest here, but it seems that everyone here is willing to bring gear, but we're all left guessing...Dan? Phil? Tim? Anyone? Anyone? Beuller?

If nothing else, I'm assuming that we're going to need at least five video cameras - one for each simultaneous session, and I know at the very least Chad is going to need one for his video class. I'm also assuming that we'll need a projector in each classroom. Next, I'm assuming that we're going to be live capturing the classes. If we have to capture the stuff off of tape, uploading it to the web is going to be a HUGE undertaking. If we do a simple firewire in to Windows Media Encoder, it would handle capturing and encoding in one step, so all we have to do is upload after the class. The catch of course is that there would need to be a computer in each room, so three extra computers would be required for this (the main auditorium I'm assuming is going to have the tricaster so that's already taken care of).

All of the above assumes that Dan, Phil, and Tim indeed need everything I listed, and have none of it booked at present. If necessary, I am good for at least one camera and one projector.

I've got four Panasonic F250s, three studio backs, two ENG backs, and a partridge in a pear tree. Two tripods, two studio kits. I can pull a CCU or two and cable if we need.

I've also got a couple of throwdown monitors if we need 'em.

Lenses on the cameras are 12X Fuji and 15X Canon, no extenders, half-inch B4 mount.

If we need some or all, they can come.

I can bring Canon GL1, tripod and Eiki LC-SD10 projector.

Count me in for an Epson 77c Projector, 2200 lumens. I'll talk to my church about bringing one of the spare laptops. Based on Wayne's list, I don't think my camera will be necessary, but I have an Canon XH-A1 I may be able to weasel out of my church if it's deemed necessary.

And who's gonna take care of your partridge while you're in classes?
