Arrow New Convention Site Design

I've redone a big chunk of www.refreshyourimage.net. It still needs some work, but I'm ready to officially go live with it by advertising it in our newsletter. If anyone sees anything that needs to be fixed up on it, let me know. Again, BIG thanks to Don and Gene for the graphics. It wouldn't look even close to good without their stuff!

I did too! That should be "I found an error" ^^^^

That one went to print! I'll need to get a corrected PSD from Don to fix that on the site.

I love Don's graphics, but having the home page, About page, etc. as monolithic graphics makes them load slowly on a slow connection, and makes them search engine and AdWords unfriendly (not to mention text-resizing unfriendly for folks with larger font sizes needed.)

I had thought about the Google problem. I'm not terribly concerned with slow loading, but I'd be okay with converting the site into more text. There are two problems with working anymore on it for right now:

1) Time. I HAVE to get a newsletter out today so that we don't choke.

2) The text areas in the PSDs from Don are "objects" and not text layers. There's no way to edit them or copy the text -- unless I'm missing something.

I'm good with it for now, but we can still work on it. I need to get the new ftp password to you guys.

I don't mind working on it, if you don't mind Tim.

Not at all! The more help, the better. I'll email the ftp info to you and the others:

Phil - general website overseer
Richard - coding the schedule
Gene - graphics/design
Don - graphics/design

Don -- can you email (mine was listed in Tim's email with the FTP info) or post somewhere a copy of the PSDs with the text still as text?
