| CONVENTION NEWS I'm going to hit it hard and get the class schedule done by tomorrow. I need class descriptions from those of you who know you are teaching. I'll write general descriptions if I don't get them right away. We can change them on the website later. Joel -- could you get descriptions from MO? Thanks! ![]() |

| I'll sent MO a note right away.

| Sorry for being lame about it but if you'd like me to do a class still I can prepare something without a problem. Linux, website design, whatever. ![]()

| “Taming the wedges”-Mark Finley In this class we will look at practical and affordable solutions for reducing stage noise levels for the modern worship band. The pros and cons of Electric Drums and on-stage amps will be discussed, as well as both wired and wireless in-ear monitoring systems such as the Aviom, Hearback, and more affordable “more me” personal mixers. “Building a camera ministry one piece at a time”- Mark Finley This class will look at starting, growing, and fully utilizing a camera ministry. Topics to be covered are camera selection, mixing boards, Overflow rooms, Lobby monitors, communication between camera operators, DVD recording, DVD duplication, webstreaming, and using distribution amps. Affordability will be stressed, as well as practical application. Different techniques will be shown for effective use for different equipment levels from one to three cameras, along with inputting your computer signal to a mixer using a scan converter.
