| Free projector screen and cheap speakers Hey guys. A hotel in Irving is giving away a projector screen. It is one of the older pulldown types. I have NO idea what condition it is in. But he was going to throw it away (you know how corporate America is though, I have seen them throw away some perfectly good stuff). Again, I have NO idea what condition it was in (it looked okay, the AV Manager was making room in storage today) but it is free to anyone who will go pick it up in the next couple of days. Also I have a free VGA cable. Looks to be about 50'-75'. Hotel said it had a ground fault in the cable somewhere (so you get that flicker like when you video tape an old CRT display, where you can see the refresh), but again, it is free if anyone wants it. I have not tested it. It might have been his setup. Also I have 36 AT87 Atlas 70V speakers from a remodel. They are in varying condition. Some are good. Some have wire through the cones. One has a bolt through the transformer. But I am only asking $300 cash obo for them. So if you find 6 of them in working order, it would be worth the money. None of this would have any warranty express or implied. As is. You pick up or pay shipping. But I would rather someone take a chance and maybe get use out of it than it go in the trash. Post here or shoot me an email. EsotericVisions at gmail.com Mike

| hmm...70v speakers. I just ran some tests on some of ours and found a bunch or busted cones. my google of atlas at87 came up dry...what are they? Just for scale and refference, my church had a total of 7 70v speakers when everything was working. so 36 is monster overkill. (you can guess what a church of this size has for A/V budget right?) still, I'm intrigued. I'll poke my nose around this week sometime and see if my recollection serves about the speakers here. |
