Sorry for the down time on the forums today.

Internal server errors that never did end up making sense.

Eventually ended up with a re-install of Apache and creating some links that shouldn't have needed to be created.

I've got a server at work that gives occasional 500 errors (and we can't figure out why). Glad you guys sorted it out!
