| SIGNATURES - PLEASE READ NOW Hi, everybody!
Over the last few weeks we've been sending out an ever-increasing number of PMs to folks about signatures. Many folks may not be aware of the rules, and perhaps some of them have not been explicit enough. So, here they are, clarified and expanded.
#1) You may not use your signature as an advertisement or for other promotion. You may not link to any website in your signature, except for non-commercial personal or church/ministry sites. A *very few* people have been granted permission to put links in their signature, but no one else may.
If you are interested in receiving permission you must:
1) be a PRO member
2) be here for a long period of time (generally over a year) and be an active, helpful, contributing member of the community
3) ask Dan & Phil
Business members of CMN purchase the opportunity to place their Business name, website URL, and a one-line description of their business in their signature.
CMN advertisers may have a link in their signatures, but must include the phrase "XXX is a ChurchMedia.net sponsor." (XXX is the sponsor name.) This is only permissible while sponsorship is active.
#2) Signatures must be short. No more than five lines. A blank line counts as a line. (We didn't define this in lines before, but are now.)
#3) Please avoid bold type, centering, spaces, logos, and anything else that makes your signature look like an advertisement.
Please check your signature and see if it fits within these rules - and change it if it doesn't. We reserve the right to edit your signature if it doesn't.
Thanks.
