Yell [NEWS] Two new ways to support CMN

I've added two new features that will allow you to support CMN and advertise at the same time for as little as 25 CENTS (that's right, 0.25).

1) ChurchMedia.net Pix Ads
You buy "real estate" on a 1000x1000 pixel grid. You can upload a picture with a link to that area. It's .25 per 10x10 grid space. There is a magnifier available to people who view the grid if you go cheap and only buy a couple of spaces. Your ad is permanent and I'll make sure the grid is seen.

2) ChurchMedia.net Word Ads
Similar to Pix Ads, word ads have 265 available words that you can add your link to. You can also change the word once you have bought the ad. Word Ads are only $2.50 each and never expire.

Just about any "ad" can be placed, even if it's not a business. You can upload (almost) any picture and just support CMN by buying some grid space or a word.

One quick tip: Create an account BEFORE you buy grid space or a word. Right now only PayPal is set up, but you don't need a PayPal account to use it. I'll try to have our other payment option up and running soon.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I don't know why it did that. Maybe because you were the first one and it had some weird data "stuck". I approved you. Thanks, guys!

Not at all! They just need to be in good taste, of course. You could even put a picture of yourself and link to your blog -- whatever.

I like the idea of buying a word ad... how does it work?

Is is shown whenever the mouse hovers over the words or is it when a word appears the text ad is displayed somewhere?

Right -- when you hover over it your ad pops up with a picture -- it also links over to your site.

When I first installed it there were a bunch of general words. I grabbed a list of video terms off of a site and used them instead. It will make you cool to be linked to "1080i" . You can replace the word with whatever you like and also change the font properties, including size.

Try it out! If you don't like it I'll refund your whole $2.50

I tried buying WinDVD and Nero, completing the pay-pay transactions for both successfully and each time it returned me to a page stating:

Quote:
Unexpected Error
The following unexpected error occurred:
Invalid step value
When I clicked to check the words, it said that I hadn't purchased any.

Is there a delay between Pay-Pay and the payment gateway for this particular service?

Thanks
- Shaun
