| Cable broadcast Music License Hi, We are currently doing a video podcast of our entire services online CCLI's Streaming and Podcast license to cover the music. There has been some talk about broadcasting on a local cable access channel, but I know our streaming/podcast license doesnt cover that. Does anyone know of a "blanket" license similar to the stuff CCLI offers, that would cover TV broadcasts? We are likely going to at least air the sermon, but if it is not too expensive we would like to air the praise and worship segments also. |

| Check with the cable channel. They should be able to help you out with that.

| Unfortunately, they only provide a list of requirements for the recording. One specifically states "Church ensures that they have all legal rights to use footage, music or any other graphics used in their production." It is actually not a traditional network, its a local thing done "in house" by the cable provider. They act like they dont want to get involved with the copyright issues. http://www.atmc.net/res/atmctv-church.aspx They have not contacted me back yet, but I dont believe they charge anything for this. |
