FCC Cracks Down on Reglious Broadcasters (Closed Captioning Requirement)

FYI. FCC is cracking down on the "automatic" Closed Captioning exemptions it has granted in the past to religious broadcasters. It's still possible to claim a "financial hardship" exemption, but the FCC will require proof of financial hardship on a case-by-case basis now, instead of just granting the blanket exemption churches have enjoyed until now.

Unfortunately...well fortunately we knew that the FCC would laugh in our face if we claimed financial hardship so we broke down and bought the equipment.

Yeah, we thought we would have a hard time claiming financial hardship when we're producing a multicam broadcast in full HD.
