Using Wirecast with Ustream, What's the Channel?

I am trying to use the Wirecast Demo with Ustream and I am using the presets for Ustream and it is asking me for my channel. Is that the number of my stream or the name? I have tried several differents things that I thought it would be but I keep getting an error when I hit the "generate RTMP" button. I finally put a name combination together that I wought would have worked, no error when I connected, but Wirecast is running but it is not showing up on Ustream....

Any ideas?

In the broadcast pannel make sure you download the xml file for the right configuration. I did this and then opened up the xml file from Flash media encoder and it set it up itself.

You might try to connect with wirecast before you start broadcast on ustream.

Hi David,
Thanks for the input. I am not clear on what you are saying here. Are you saying to import the RTMP and URL info from Flash Media Encoder?

Got the answer, it is as you said, use the Channel name, which was not plainly spelled out on our Ustream site! PLUS, you have to do a Start Broadcast on Ustream's site after starting the broadcast on Wirecast. I thought Wirecast automatically made the connection and started Ustream, my mistake.
Hopefully this will be a help to another streaming newbie!

Perhaps you have found this by now but you do not have to have the ustream page up to get the video running. You can enter your user name and password in wirecast and it will start for you.
