| New MEDIA Ministry Hello there! I'm Jason Calhoun from Sacramento California. I work out of the Assemblies Of God Nor-Cal/Nevada District Resource Center as the Pathway MEDIA director. Pathway MEDIA is a new ministry launching October 1st 2009. It is designed specifically to be a resource to the local church, and especially those who work with media within the local church. We are providing training resources, practical resources, networking, and so much more. We're very excited about this new ministry, and would love to get feedback from people. Thanks so much!   |

| That's good to hear. I'd be interested in reading some of your online literature or viewing one of you seminars if you have it videotaped and online.

| Yeah definitely. We will be adding lots of content as time goes on, as for now things will be a bit sparse. We will be opening the seminars up to all our members via skype if they are not able to make it in person. We might actually be streaming them live also. Our first seminar is an open house seminar, free of charge, open to everyone, members or not. It will be on October 29th, not sure about the time yet, but will be in the evening some time, probably around 6-7ish. |

| Yeah, the steaming video should be interesting. We haven't begun it yet, but should be fun. We've not officially launched the site though, I would love to get others feedback. You can find it at pathway media . org without the spaces of course. I haven't made 15 posts so it won't let me actually add the link. Thanks! |

| Just something I came across in the ustream watershed terms of service, if you intend to use their paid service, it appears they've added a nice $200 cancellation fee (lame). You might check into LightCast Media, right now they're in beta of live services so they're offering all of their packages with live features, even though some may no longer have this function after the beta closes, or ends. Interesting use of the e107 system. |
