Word Association!

Standard CMN policy is that Word Association threads don't happen often.
When they do, they are reserved for the PRO Members "fun and games" section.

However, for a little Holiday cheer, here's a Word Association Thread for everybody.

Basic rules:

* your response must be one word or a short phrase - not a full sentence, not a paragraph, not a list, not a link to an image - just one word or a short phrase

* your response must somehow segue logically from the previous post

* no meta-talk! Don't say things like "nice joke" or "i was thinking the same thing" or "I don't get that" or "don't tell Nunzio I posted this" or "I'll keep you in my prayers", etc.

* you must respond to the last item posted. don't reach back and respond to the post before last, or three posts ago - even if you have a wittier response to that than the one already posted

* although not mandatory, it's cool if you can quote the prior post you're responding to in your post - but preferably not all the posts prior to that one

* don't respond to your own post! wait a few posts before posting again. (I break the rule just to get the thread started.)

Okay...we're off...

posts may be deleted - not because they're "bad", but because they're not staying with the rules and keeping the flow going
