I know adobe audition 2.0 has an option of Vocal Removal under favorites. I havent used it before but I know its there.

You can usually come close by removing the center channel -- that is, subtract R from L and subtract L from R. That presumes that the vocal is panned center and everything else is not panned center.

If you can copy it into Apples 'Garage Band' you can mix and take out certain parts.
