Visio Stencils

Does anybody here know where I can find A/V stencils for Visio? I would like to have a good diagram of our setup. I use Visio at work and thought this would be a great program to draw the diagram in.

Thanks

Mike

Rack tools is not visio based anymore... You could still try it out, but the older visio version was way better. I use a program called D-tools to do AV drawings in Visio. It's a professional AV design software package that uses visio, but it's super expensive. d-tools.com

If you want to do lighting design with Visio, we just introduced a set. These are specific to lighting design, and include automated lights, conventionals, strip lights, lekos, and a page of some common stage and rigging accessories. If you want to learn more, see WindWorksDesign and look on the LIGHTING page.

Best regards,
Art

I know this is an old thread, but I'm currently looking for Visio stencils for our church video production setup. Does anyone have anything, please?

Many thanks,
-John.

AV (lighting, sound, video) stencils for Visio

Hi Mike,
We only have lighting gear at this time. Working on audio gear, but that will be quite a few months from now. What specific video gear would you like to see in stencils? Our lighting does have a projector screen and truss, but I'm not sure what you are looking for.

Hi All,

Since I couldn't find a Visio stencil myself, I've had a go at creating one which I've uploaded into another post in the "General Video Production" forum. (Sorry, I don't have enough posts yet to add a link - maybe someone else can do that?)

Please feel free to ask for anything that's not included and I'll do my best to expand it and make it something useful to the community as a whole.

Kind regards,
-John.
