Need to buy outboard effects for church

Hey all

We're begining a more modern worship service for our second service. This is great and all, but we have a board that has exactly ZERO effects. No reverb, gate, comp, anything. I've made due through the years, but with more modern music sounds, it's time to scrounge up some. I am an audio engineer, so I'm familiar with alot of recording based gear, but does anyone have a great peice of gear that is a must have. Something maybe a little versatile? Let me know.

For effects, the TC M-One is popular and pretty versatile. I also like the Yamaha SPX-90/900/990.

I like the BSS comps on vocals. For drum gates, BSS or Drawmer keyed gates are fabulous. The classic dbx 160 comps are a good go-to three-knob comp, and I don't mind the Presonus ACP88 either.

For Reverb, Kurzweil Rumour IF you can find one. TC M1 is OK, but a used TC M2000 would be more flexible. Even the 300 series is decent (one verb, one FX, has a Tap button). The old Yamaha REV500 and REV7 are still good units.
