Behringer PX1000 & PX3000 patchbays

I've seen these used in many different studios, from low-budget home studios to higher end ones.

So my question is what is the difference between them?

Besides the PX1000 having 5 modes and the PX3000 having only 3 modes what accounts for the price difference?

thanks

just a guess

It looks as if the 3000 is made of better materials. Thats the only difference I see besides the different modes. I have used the PMX1000 and I think the inputs and outputs were basically plastic. This is just me thinking though.

reading the literature, it appears that you might get a couple of extra modes on the 3000. I always say, if you don't know how to use the extra features, you probably don't want to pay for them.
