EZ Tracker

Is there a new link to EZ Tracker ? The old on seems to go to the right site, but EZ Tracker is not there any more. I was looking to update it hoping it had the capability to write to MP3 format now. The WAV files are eating up the hard drive.

Not sure if it does mp3 or not as I do not use it. I use adobe audition to convert to mp3

I emailed the author of EZ tracker and he said version 2.0 sould be out this week... I guess they are also reworking their websight and that is why the link is missing at this time.

Did the program author mention what the enhancements were ? I actually think it is close to perfect as is. I just want the ability to choose compressed files. We rountinely get 55 minute sermons.

Hi,

The enhancements I'm including in the new release of EZTracker include:

1. Finer adjustments on the volume control.
2. Auto-level control
3. Soft start - Pressing the button to start recording will cause a fade-in.
4. Soft stop - Pressing the stop button will cause a fade-out.
5. Soft pause - You can guess what this does.
6. Minimum file length. Since Redbook does not allow files that are less than two seconds, clicking the stop button will check to make sure that the last file is at least two seconds long. If not, it will force it to a two second length.

7. The big one - Built in CD burning.

I love this little program and can't wait for the new release. I think it's time to send in some reward money. Anyone else who is using this for free, it might be time to caugh up a few dollars for his efforts.

I just got a USB audio box to run sound from the PC to the Mixer. Does anyone have any recomendations for a program to record from Wave. That seems to be my only input now and EZtracker does not give me that option.
