How many full color prints have you made so far? Have you had to change the cartridge yet?

We do about a dozen a week and we've done 4 batches. I don't think we've changed the cartridge yet, because the AP hasn't asked me where to buy more.

It's pretty easy to use. Obviously I have one. When I produce "for sale" DVD's for a local college, I get between 70 and 75 high quality full color CD's or DVD's out of an ink cartridge.

Well, gotta say, it was a good run.
It died. The main fuse at the power transformer blew on Friday morning just after I left the house for work.
Needless to say, the fluctuations of power when they plugged things back in fried the DiscPainter.
I printed approximately 1500 CD/DVD's with it. When used on a regular basis of daily or every other day, the quality is consistent. When it's left to sit, the consistency degrades and quite a bit of time is spent cleaning the cartridge.
Can't say it was the best @$350 I spent, but it wasn't bad.
Now to save the cash for a real machine.

That's rough.

We're still lovin' ours.

My advise, put it on the UPS with the rest of the CPU gear. I didn't.
