Question Shure psm900

We are looking into purchasing 5 of the shure psm900 series iem's. Are there any reasons why we shouldn't consider this unit and has anyone had experience with these before. Thanks a bunch. "Z"

I guess the question would be, why the PSM900's over the PSM600, Sennheiser's 300 series, MiPro's 808's or AKG's IVM4?
And, do you really need to be wireless?

We would like to be wireless, our musicians/vocalists like to be free to move around, and I'd like less wires to get tangeled up on the platform. Maybe I'll have to look into some of the units you mention, we are also looking at aviom's, but no decisions have been made yet.

A personal monitor system like Aviom sort of contradicts the wireless aspect. You could use the ProCo Momentum system with the mtweak iPhone app and wireless IEMs or something similar to that, but otherwise your going to have some cabled controller for control and possibly for the audio connection.

I'm with Brad on the ProCo Momentum. If you're looking for as cable free chancel (stage) as possible, that would be the way to go with wireless IEM's.
And, as you're shopping around, looking at wireless IEM's, make sure you're using a consistent reference, your own ear buds, or better yet, a pair of studio monitors to evaluate their clarity, fidelity, noise floor, compander artifacts, etc.
I personally have compared (several years ago) the quality of the MiPro 808, Shure PSM400, Sennheiser ew300, Shure PSM600 and AKG's flavor of the time, and for me, the MiPro 808 scored the highest for frequency response and noise floor.
Just my 2-cents.

I know the aviom is wired, it's just another option. Plus we are going to be getting an m7cl ( es I hope) and aviom integration is easy. But we still like the idea of a clean wireless platorm
