If you've looked for a economical IEM system with more control than traditional auxes off of the main console then i've got a treat for you. I've shared this design in many forms over the years with many different churches and bands. The system is so simple a child could operate it yet so diverse it can handle multiple different applications.
To start off, here are a few pictures of the system i use at my campuses.
In the first picture you can see how the sub snake attaches to the box. The snake is a 4 pair Canare cable that handles power, 2 sends to the console, and 1 return from the console. The use of the Sends can be stereo instrument, mono instrument plus vocal, 2 mono instruments, or anything in between.
In the second picture you can see how i chose to make a disconnect for the wall wart. This allows the cable to be wrapped and stored without a big clunky wall wart getting in the way. The connectors can be changed to fit your application but this is the way that works best for us.
Let me know if you have any questions.
