LS9 Mix Question

Is it possible on the LS9 to patch the master volume of a mix to one of the channels on the top layer?

No but you can set up a Custom Fader Layer that can have both inputs and outputs on it. I use this alot for smaller churches that don't want to flip back and forth.

Hi,

I am not 100% sure about what you are asking but I'll try and answer what I think you are!

On the LS9-32 there are four (4) top layers:

Inputs 1-32
Inputs 33-64
Master (mix and matrix)
Custom

Each layer is selectable by a button on the lower left-hand side of the panel with the colour LCD screen.

The Inputs and Master layers are fixed (i.e. you can't configure them) but you can configure the custom layer to group together inputs, mix and matrix faders as you would like. We find this feature great - i.e. you can group together all the commonly used faders on one layer but have the other three fixed layers available for faders that are not often used.

If I have answered what you didn't want to know - please tell me and I will try and get it right next time!

Dave
