New auditorium -- speaker advice needed

As far as not having enough boxes . . . We have a Hall that could seat about 1200 people that has a system with a 7box per side hang plus 2 subs to the sides. The speakers are Adamson Metrix, and they sound great, far from brittle.

To Cory's point though, this was a properly engineered system for the space that we have and includes not only loudspeakers, but Processing and Amps. (XTA and Lab Gruppen) I will see if I can get a cost range for the above mentioned system.

Just got the figures back. It was about 52,000.00 with speakers, amps, processing and cabling.

If you feel pressured then back away and contact a consultant that is highly recommended or you find with a good track record. A lot of speakers are available and with the design already done. Is conduits in place to run speakers wire where they might need to go to meet code? A lot of details goes into instll the right speaker system for a church. Wherther a cluster in the center, Split left right clusters, line-a-rays, and more other designs.....

As far as your Organ connections unless the pre-amp for the electronics has an output you have to mic the organ to bring into the system.
